Beginner Classes & Workshops

Multiple Week Classes (8-week)

PGC offers in-depth eight-week classes for beginners who are ready to take the plunge into a longer class. Unless otherwise noted, classes meet for eight weeks in three-hour sessions.


Pendant Passion


Price: $325

Amaze your family and friends with your new collection of borosilicate (hard) glass pendants. In this 8-week session, students will learn a new design technique every week, from compression, pin wheels, donut holes, mandrel beads and much more. Focus on flame development, gathering glass, color application of dots, stripes and color layers to obtain the desired look of your one of a kind pendant. Great for beginners or those with some flameworking experience with an interest in pendants.

Flame Shop Open Studio - Friday 10am - 2pm

Open studio time for students currently enrolled in a flame class or anyone who has taken a flame class within the last year costs only $10/hr per person. This price includes all tool rentals. What an amazing deal! In addition, a technician will be on duty to answer your questions or help you get over a hurdle. Time can be booked on a week-to-week basis but must be schedule in advance. Stop by our Studio location at 5472 Penn Avenue Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 10am to 7pm or Friday, Saturday or Sunday 10am to 4pm.

*Unless otherwise noted, you must be at least 14 years old to take a workshop or class.
