Eric Goldschmidt currently designs, develops, and produces work at Walt Disney World. If you have ever wanted to learn how to make consistent, well-constructed, quality goblets, this is the class for you. Through daily demonstrations, hands-on instruction, and lots of practice, students will develop a deep understanding of what it takes to make the work they desire. Topics that will be covered range from proper bubble set-up for the cup and foot shapes, to the creation of very strong connections, through an array of techniques for decoration of your pieces. We will be using tools such as diamond shears, jacks, and most importantly our hands and brains to rise to a whole new level in controlling hollow borosilicate glass.
