Fusing for Beginners

Janet Kelman’s work appears on the cover of "500 Glass Objects" and in three issues of "New Glass Review." Students will be introduced to basic slumping and fusing techniques, including testing for compatibility. Design emphasis will be on personal imagery, incorporating lampworked and carved elements. Students will explore techniques necessary to create panels or shallow vessels, using temporary and permanent molds. Full kiln schedules will be provided.
