Teen Classes & Workshops
12-Week After School, Home School & Cyber School Programs
PGC offers in depth 12-week classes for young artists age 13 to 18 that fit their busy schedule. Our daytime classes for teens are a great way for home school or cyber school students to come together to enhance team building skills, communication and have fun with peers.
Glassblowing for Teens
Classes begin on February 5 and run through May 1, 2008.
No classes March 18-23 for Spring Break.
In this 12-week program, young artists will focus on building their skills and understanding hot glass. This is a great course for anyone age 13 – 18 that has taken a PGC workshop or is a first time student. In the first quarter, instructors will teach the basic skills of gathering, blowing, and tool handling. In the second quarter, we will concentrate on making functional vessels such as cups and vases. In the third quarter, students will be given the chance to sculpt hot glass beginning with a variety of decorative bit techniques on larger vessels. In the final quarter, we will see where their imagination takes them. A series of group projects will occur throughout the 12 weeks.

In-Person Registration
Stop by our Studio location at 5472 Penn Avenue Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 10am to 7pm or Friday, Saturday or Sunday 10am to 4pm.
*Unless otherwise noted, you must be at least 13 years old to take a workshop or class.
