I can’t believe that 10 years ago I was volunteering at Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) before there was even a flame in the furnace. Now, I’m carrying the torch into the next decade to make PGC one of the top contemporary art centers in the world. Help me lead the charge!

There have been many highlights during my time at PGC. Your donation ensures there will be many more in the future:
- I’m so proud of former high school students who are excelling at top art colleges in the country like Rhode Island School of Design, Tyler School of Art and the College for Creative Studies.
- One of our first studio apprentices, Stephen Protheroe, is about to receive a graduate degree in engineering so that he can be a leader and build more energy efficient glass furnaces.
- I’m amazed at how many people proudly display their own handmade pumpkins on their holiday table (and some actually keep them out year-round!)
- I get excited when I hear a new glass collector tell me that they just won their first piece of art in our annual auction.
- I was touched when I saw the boxing glove bead that Mike Mangiafico made for a special child, a fighter, at Children’s Hospital during the first Beads of Courage day at PGC.
