opportunities for artists
At Pittsburgh Glass Center we share our passion for glass locally and globally to advance a more diverse, vibrant, and accessible glass art community.
An important part of our mission is to cultivate, nurture and support diverse and passionate glass artists and expand opportunities for them to make and exhibit their work in Pittsburgh and beyond.
call for artists - full spectrum
Pittsburgh Glass Center would like to invite BIPOC craftspeople to apply for Full Spectrum, an exhibition brought to you by Crafting the Future, ORIGINS, and The Color Network. This exhibition will celebrate the diverse voices in the field and the myriad of approaches to a fully realized practice and career. We invite you to apply whether you identify as a maker, artist, designer, craftsperson, or anywhere in between. DEADLINE TO APPLY: August 1, 2021
ApplY for the Handmade Arcade Winter Marketplace

Lawrenceville Pop-Up Market
Lawrenceville Pop-Market Market is continuing throughout the summer! With more locations, almost double the vendor spots available, and an updated time, the popular Lawrenceville Pop-Up Market is ready for the summer. Happening on every other Saturday starting on June 12 through July and August from 10 am - 2pm, we are looking forward to being able to expand this event and make it even better than ever. From a few supersized dates with 4 locations, over 60 vendor spots available and more of our standard Saturdays with approximately 40 spots available and some good food trucks, we are turning up the heat for this summer and working to create as many opportunities for local artists, makers and small businesses to sell their goods as we can.
