2021 Elizabeth R. Raphael Founder’s Prize
Contemporary Craft announces the call for entries for the 2021 Elizabeth R. Raphael Founder’s Prize, a $5,000 cash prize plus award. Presented in conjunction with a juried exhibition at Contemporary Craft (CC), a corresponding catalogue and a feature video on the winning artist, the biennial prize is funded by the daughters of Elizabeth R. Raphael, the founder of CC and a nationally known figure in the contemporary art scene for several decades. This year’s prize will be awarded in the category of glass, on the basis of an entry that addresses the theme of “transformation.”
The Prize is open to exceptionally talented artists who are in the early, mid or late stages of their career and reside in the United States or abroad. DEADLINE TO APPLY: October 22, 2021
