Pittsburgh Glass Center

Wigle Whiskey and Pittsburgh Glass Center have joined together to offer you a neat two-part experience to taste these Pittsburgh traditions.

Part One: Wednesday, March 12 6:30-7:30pm at Wigle Whiskey, 2401 Smallman Street

You'll be steeped in whiskey knowledge and Western PA Whiskey Rebellion lore. Includes a whiskey cocktail to start, a hands on tour of the distillation process, a history of the Whiskey Rebellion told through the eyes of Philip Wigle, and a seated straight tasting.

Part Two: Wednesday, March 19 6:30-8:30pm at PGC, 5472 Penn Ave

The glass is an important part of the evaluation and enjoyment of the drinking experience. The shape of the glass can allow you to savor the taste and complexities of fine whiskey. At PGC we'll show you how these glasses are made. Taste Wigle Whiskey. Experience different glasses like the snifter, tumbler, copita, and Glencairn to learn how the shape affects the way you enjoy your whiskey with Rob McCaughey of Dreadnought Wines . Handmade glasses will be for sale at the event.
