Learn a variety of ways to create imagery in glass and explore the resist technique that is o popular right now. We will cover a number of techniques and materials such as glass powder, glass stringers, enamels, sandblasting and the photo resist process to capture our images in glass. We will bend stringers over a flame, work with glass powder and hand cut stencils. Using a computer equipped with Photoshop, we will edit our images to prepare them for the resist process. This is a technique driven class, but you will go home with a number of small pieces and one large final project.
