This course will explore the many uses of line in glassblowing. From form and profile, to pattern and surface the class will navigate the use of optic molds, cane, stringers, wraps and engraving to compliment and enhance blown or solid compositions. Students will be challenged to think and design vessels or sculptural works by planning out how the use of lines could compliment and enhance the forms they are making. The class will be catered toward individual interests and abilities.
