Hot Jam Window Display
Hot Jams are an important part of PGC's history and 20th anniversary celebration.
Almost every First Friday since the beginning (disregarding last year), we opened our doors for free and welcomed everyone to come and watch heat defying acts of art with local and sometimes internationally renowned glass artists.
Since these demonstrations are always unexpected and experimental, we never know how things will turn out. We've seen an elephant, baseball ball, tornado, Thanksgiving turkey and more emerge from the furnace after hours of teamwork and sweat. Not everything has survived the test of time. A few of those Hot Jam sculptures that did survive are on display in our window along Penn Avenue for the month of May.
