Thank you for your interest in scheduling a private activity at Pittsburgh Glass Center. Our policies and procedures have recently changed with the onset of COVID-19. The safety of our staff and visitors is our priority.

We welcome you and your small group of friends and family members (pod) to Pittsburgh Glass Center to take tour and watch a glass demonstration or to try a hands-on activity. 

Because we are committed to the health and safety of our staff and visitors, we’ve made many changes based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, PA Department of Health and the Allegheny County Heath Department including limiting the number of participants in each activity to a maximum of 6 individuals. 

What We Are Doing to Keep You Safe
  • Masks are required.
  • Capacity is limited in every room and studio.
  • Social distancing of 6 feet between you and others is requested.  
  • Frequent hand washing/sanitizing is suggested. 
  • Only cashless credit card transactions will be accepted.

Entering your information on this form is the first step to scheduling small group (pod) workshops or private lessons. We will be in touch within a week to schedule your request.

Private small group activities (pods) are scheduled during the following times:

Wednesday & Thursday 2pm-4pm OR 5pm-7pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am-1pm OR 2pm-4pm

We require at least 2 weeks advance notice to schedule private activities.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, up to 24 hours before the date and time of the event. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time will incur a $25 cancellation fee. 

If you have been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. We will offer you a full refund if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance and look forward to welcoming you at a later date.

Item Pick Up
Glass items made during the activity cannot be taken home on the day of the activity. Items will be ready for pickup at Pittsburgh Glass Center within five days of the activity date. Items can be shipped for an additional charge if required. Please inquire if you need to arrange to have your items shipped.
