Anna Johnson is an American glass artist. Johnson graduated from the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI in 2023 with a BFA with glass art as her focus. Anna is influenced by personal queer experiences and Greek Mythology. Driven to find parallels and resonance points between these different narratives, Johnson uses a graphic glass practice to sculpt sympathetic monsters. Johnson takes influence from friends, coworkers, and peers. Anna has worked at many museums, such as the Flint Institute of Arts, located in Flint, Michigan, and the Henry Ford Museum, located in Dearborn, Michigan.
