Make-It-Now: Fused Glass Valentines
Description
Celebrate the season of love in the Kiln Shop! In this fun experience, you’ll design your own glass valentines using glass granules (frit) and thin glass rods (stringer). Once you design it, we’ll fire it in the kiln so all the pieces become one. These colorful sparkling creations can be turned into ornaments, sun catchers, or heartfelt gifts.Whether you’re making something special for a loved one or just sharing the love of glassmaking, this is a lovely way to brighten up your February.
Ages 5+
Adult supervision is required for any children under 14 years old.
Due to the nature of hot glass, items cannot be taken home the same day they are created. All items made in the kiln shop must be heated and fused in the kiln, then cooled slowly. Items are available for pick-up after 5 days. Shipping can be arranged on site the day of your activity.
