Description
Bring a garden to life in glass. In this full-day beginner flameworking workshop, you’ll sculpt your own glass ecosystem using a 3,000°F torch. Shape cheerful flowers, plump vegetables, curious bugs, and a few sneaky slugs as you explore the art of solid glass sculpting. Have an idea for another springtime creature or plant? There may be time to explore your own inspired designs, too. You will gain a solid foundation in studio safety, torch operation, essential sculpting techniques, and experience the joy of working with molten glass. Come ready to create and let your imagination bloom in glass. Note: Class includes a 30-minute lunch break.
