My name is Alex Gaffield, I am a beginner glassblower who is really enjoying exploring and learning the craft. I am a Washington native, I moved to the Pittsburgh area for the glass and the cheaper cost of living, and I am very glad I did. I like to spend my time helping at the Glass Center, and interacting with visitors who are interested in glass. I’m really looking forward to meeting all the artists who frequent the glass center and learning as much as I can.
