Gene Anderson came to PGC from a corporate sustainability consulting background, drawn to PGC’s commitment to arts education and community building. Gene grew up in rural New York state and attended college at SUNY-ESF, where they received Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Environmental Resources Engineering and fell in love with number-crunching and data, before moving to Pittsburgh in 2022. Outside of work, Gene is an avid sewist and quilter, and enjoys tending to his many houseplants.
