Rebecca McNeil CPA, CGMA, is the Shared CFO of the Arts Finance Cohort and provides financial management and strategic planning guidance for five small arts organizations (Contemporary Craft, Kelly Strayhorn Theater, New Hazlett Theater, Pittsburgh Glass Center and Union Project). She previously worked as Director of Finance for the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and as an auditor with Maher Duessel CPAs. Rebecca has over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management for not-for-profit arts organizations and was named a 2016 CFO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Business Times. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

In addition to her work with the Cohort, Rebecca also provides accounting support for the Avonworth Municipal Authority, serves as Treasurer for the Borough of Emsworth, is Board Treasurer of the Avonworth Band Boosters Association, and is a member of the North Pittsburgh Symphonic Band Woodwind Ensemble.
