Flourish

Flourish

Flourish is a monumental hanging glass installation designed and created by Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) artist and Director of Creative Projects Jason Forck. Composed of over 230 individual handblown glass bubbles, Flourish serves as a radiant symbol of PGC’s community-driven growth and enduring passion for glass art.

Inspired by the spirit of traditional “buy-a-brick” campaigns, each glass bubble was made possible by one of over 200 supporters who contributed to PGC’s expansion by “buying a bubble.” These individual pieces, unique on their own, grow and glow together to form a vibrant, ever-expanding artistic legacy.

Suspended overhead, Flourish reflects the organic and collaborative nature of Pittsburgh Glass Center. It is not just a permanent work of art. It is a celebration of community, creativity, and the shared belief in the transformative power of glass.

If you feel inspired to join the hundreds of members of the Flourish community, you can name your unique glass bubble today.
