Apply for a Glass Exhibition at PGC
As a hub for creativity and education, Pittsburgh Glass Center is committed to supporting glass artists at every stage of their careers while expanding public appreciation for glass art. Central to our mission is cultivating, nurturing, and supporting a diverse community of passionate artists by providing opportunities to exhibit their work in Pittsburgh and beyond. With two galleries dedicated to showcasing contemporary glass, we are always seeking talented artists to fill our spaces.
Pittsburgh Glass Corner
We’re accepting applications for dynamic, thoughtful, and engaging projects to exhibit in this new community-centered gallery space. We welcome proposals from all disciplines, but have preference toward exhibiting glass work or proposals that include community engagement. The Corner space is flexible and can support installations, performance, wall-mounted work, and works on pedestals.
Pittsburgh Glass Corner is located at 5431 Penn Avenue, a 3-minute walk from Pittsburgh Glass Center.
The Hodge Gallery at Pittsburgh Glass Center
The Hodge Gallery presents critically-acclaimed contemporary glass art exhibitions three or four times per year. A wide range of work in glass is showcased, from student exhibitions to cutting-edge installations by established artists, some of whom incorporate light, sound, time-based elements, and even live performances. Through these exhibitions, PGC seeks to broaden people’s perception of glass, allowing them to see beyond the medium’s traditional association with functionality and into the realm of glass as a purely aesthetic experience and vehicle for creative expression.
