Furnace to Flame
Description
Explore the possibilities of combining furnace made cane with flameworked marbles! Class will start in the flame shop. Students will practice with soft glass before heading into the hot shop to create patterned canes. Back at the torch, you'll incorporate your handmade cane into colorful, layered marbles, and see how the two processes come together.
Prerequisite: Hot Glass 2 or equivalent 48 hours experience with instructor permission required.
