Suncatcher Set
Description
Bring color and creativity to your windows with two handmade glass suncatchers. In this introductory workshop, you'll gather glass from the 2,100°F furnace. Then, guided by a skilled instructor, add your choice of color and blow and shape the glass into a beautiful, light-catching suncatcher. Then, explore solid glass sculpting techniques to create a second suncatcher by twisting, pulling, and shaping molten glass by hand.
This hands-on introduction to hot glass offers two ways to explore molten glass. Each participant will create two unique suncatchers—one blown and one solid sculpted—perfect for catching the sunlight, gifting, or adding a colorful handmade touch to any window.
Due to the nature of hot glass, your creations will be ready for pickup 5 days after your activity.
