Private Lesson Scheduling Form

The information entered on this form will help us identify the instructor and time for your private lessons. We will reach out to you about scheduling based on the choices you have entered.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, up to 24 hours before the date and time of the event. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time will incur a $25 cancellation fee.

Item Pick Up

Glass items made during your lesson cannot be taken home on the day of the activity. Items will be ready for pickup at Pittsburgh Glass Center within five days of the activity date. Items can be shipped for an additional charge if required. Please inquire if you need to arrange to have your items shipped.

One-on-one lessons involve private, customized instruction in any aspect of studio glass art within any of our four studios. You receive focused attention from our experienced instructors and learn at your own pace. Beginners benefit by learning basic glassmaking techniques and build a strong foundation for working with glass. Experienced artists can expand their skill set by focusing on specific techniques of their choosing. You design the program with your instructor to fit your glassmaking goals.

Private lessons are available for 1 – 2 people. You must be at least 14 years old to schedule a private lesson.

Student Age

The minimum age for private lessons is 14. For younger students, please consider these options: Scheduling a shorter 1-hour experience - contact scheduling@pittsburghglasscenter.org Bringing a chaperone to assist younger students (only applicable for students 12+)

Availability

Due to a high number of requests, we require all reservations to be made at least 30 days ahead of your requested activity. Private lessons may be scheduled at any time during PGC’s hours of operation. PGC is open Monday-Friday 12pm-7pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Please choose 3 dates that work for your party.
