john moran: American Idols

For the 2012 election season, John Moran presented a new installation of busts of all 43 U.S. presidents. This was the first occasion that all the presidential busts appeared together, in one location. Moran constructed his strange busts and their quirky, somewhat childlike, and absurd appearances by meshing sculpted glass heads with an array of other materials.
Nick Mount: 10 Years of Bottles and Bobs: A Survey

This exhibition by Australian glass artist Nick Mount illustrates the dominant theme and aesthetic characteristics of his work from 2002 to 2012 and traces the evolution of his “Scent Bottles” and “Plumb Bobs.” Nick Mount is one of Australia’s most accomplished and celebrated studio glass artists.
ASPIRE: A Retrospective of Young Talent

This exhibition showcased the artwork of the young artists that PGC had mentored in its Technical Apprentice Program. To date, the apprentice program had brought nearly 25 young artists to live and work in Pittsburgh over the last seven years. Artists in the exhibition include:
