john moran: American Idols

August 3, 2012 - January 21, 2013

For the 2012 election season, John Moran presented a new installation of busts of all 43 U.S. presidents. This was the first occasion that all the presidential busts appeared together, in one location. Moran constructed his strange busts and their quirky, somewhat childlike, and absurd appearances by meshing sculpted glass heads with an array of other materials.
